Shipping to Greece
Orders of $49.99 or more from our website ship free to Greece with tracking, usually 8 to 12 business days after dispatch (orders under $49.99 ship for $9.99); import duties and taxes in Greece, if any, are paid on delivery. ELTA (Hellenic Post) or the courier collects the VAT and the duty before handing over the parcel, and ELTA charges no clearance fee of its own on a parcel released directly by customs on its pre-arrival declaration; its special clearance fee applies only when a parcel needs a separate customs document or an inspection. Duties, taxes and the rules in Greece
The rules as published by the authorities, checked on November 4, 2026, and how they apply to a MYNSU parcel.
Import VAT on every parcel since July 1, 2021, and the IOSS
Since July 1, 2021 the EU charges import VAT on every commercial parcel from outside the EU, whatever its value; the old exemption for goods under EUR 22 is gone. For a consignment of goods worth up to EUR 150 the seller may collect the VAT at checkout through the Import One-Stop Shop (IOSS); where the seller does not, the postal operator or courier declares the parcel under the special arrangements and collects the VAT from the recipient before delivery. Greece applies this through AADE circular E.2133/2021: a customs declaration for every parcel, the recipient liable for the VAT, and ELTA or the courier paying it to customs on the recipient's behalf. Orders from our website are not shipped under the IOSS, so the Greek VAT is collected on delivery; Partner Portal orders are prepaid at checkout.

Council Regulation (EU) 2026/382 of February 11, 2026 abolished the customs-duty exemption for consignments of up to EUR 150 and replaced it, from July 1, 2026 until July 1, 2028, with a temporary customs duty of EUR 3 per item, counted by tariff classification rather than by quantity: a parcel holding several pieces of silver jewellery is one item and pays EUR 3 once. It applies to IOSS, special-arrangement and postal consignments alike and is paid by the declarant (the seller, the IOSS holder, the courier or the postal operator), who may pass it on to the recipient. Since November 1, 2026 customs also collect the Union handling fee of EUR 2 per item on every distance sale, whatever the value, under Regulation (EU) 2026/2108 and Delegated Regulation (EU) 2026/2152; both the EUR 3 duty and the EUR 2 fee are in force on November 4, 2026. Above EUR 150 the normal duty rate for the goods applies instead of the EUR 3.

Greece's standard VAT rate is 24% and it applies to jewellery. On an imported parcel the VAT is calculated on the customs value, that is the price of the goods plus the shipping cost plus the customs duty, and from November 1, 2026 the EUR 2 handling fee is part of that base as well. A private recipient bears the VAT as a final cost; a Greek business registered for VAT that imports in its own name normally deducts the import VAT on its VAT return against the customs receipt. On Partner Portal orders we prepay the 24% at checkout on that same base, so nothing is due on delivery.

Silver jewellery is tariff code 7113 11 00 in the EU customs tariff (TARIC), with a third-country duty of 2.5% of the customs value for goods of Chinese origin and no additional or anti-dumping duty on this code. The 2.5% applies only when the goods in a consignment are worth more than EUR 150; up to EUR 150 the flat EUR 3 per item applies instead. Our tracked line does not carry parcels declared at EUR 150 or more, so an order of that size is quoted by courier with the 24% VAT and the 2.5% duty shown in the quote.

Every postal parcel from outside the EU goes through customs control in Greece. ELTA declares parcels of up to EUR 1,000 under the simplified procedure as the recipient's direct representative and collects the VAT, the duty and any other charges before handing the parcel over; the parcel carries a yellow label with the contents, the customs value and every charge, and the notice tells you the amount to pay and the post office, where the parcel waits 20 days. ELTA states that no clearance fee of its own is charged on a parcel released directly by customs on the pre-arrival declaration (type D); its special clearance fees apply only when a parcel needs a separate customs document, for example when the pre-arrival data is incomplete or customs select the parcel for inspection. If you disagree with the charges you can ask, before collecting, for customs to recalculate them.

Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), which applies in Greece, a consumer who buys at a distance may cancel within 14 days of delivery without giving a reason and is refunded the price; made-to-order and clearly personalised pieces are excluded. That right sits between you and your customer, not between you and us: orders at partner price are final sale, so a piece your customer sends back stays in your stock to resell; order one piece of a style first and reorder what sells. A piece that arrives faulty, wrong or damaged in transit is covered: tell us within 3 calendar days of delivery and we replace it or credit your account.

Questions Greek businesses ask us
Dropshipping, wholesale, private label and custom work, answered with the terms that apply today. Every partner has the same terms; they are written down here so there is nothing to negotiate and nothing to guess.
How are Greek VAT and the EU customs duty handled on dropship orders to Greece?
Prepaid at checkout, delivered duty paid. The cart adds Greek VAT at 24% on the goods, the shipping and the duty, the EU customs duty of EUR 3 per declaration item (one item for a parcel of our jewelry) (one tariff line, so it is charged once however many pieces the parcel holds), the EU handling fee of EUR 2 per declaration item and a 3% clearance fee on the goods, converted to U.S. dollars; nothing is collected from your customer on delivery and no customs notice reaches them. Our prices do not include Greek VAT, so set your retail price from the delivered cost.
What does one piece cost delivered to a customer in Greece, all in?
For example, at the carrier rates of November 3, 2026 and a $29.99 piece: one $29.99 piece: $29.99 + $9.99 shipping + $17.46 VAT 24%, duty, EU handling fee and clearance = $57.44 delivered; 3 pieces in one parcel: $89.97 + $10.02 shipping + $33.67 VAT 24%, duty, EU handling fee and clearance = $133.66 delivered; 5 pieces in one parcel: $149.95 + $14.55 shipping + $50.95 VAT 24%, duty, EU handling fee and clearance = $215.45 delivered. Shipping is charged on the parcel's weight with a minimum of $9.99 per order, and the VAT, duty, EU handling fee and clearance line is worked out on the goods and shipping of that order; everything is shown in the cart before you pay, and nothing is due on delivery.
Can I order more than EUR 150 of goods in one parcel?
Not on the tracked line: it does not carry parcels declared at EUR 150 or more. Tell us before you place an order of that size and we quote courier shipping for it together with the 24% VAT and the 2.5% customs duty, so you know the full price in advance. For dropshipping, one customer order per parcel keeps every parcel well under the limit.
I have a Greek VAT number and an EORI number. Can my company be the importer and pay the VAT itself?
Yes, by arrangement before you order: we quote the order with your company as the importer of record and take the VAT, duty, EU handling fee and clearance off the payment link; the carrier then collects the import VAT and duty from you on arrival, usually with a handling fee of its own, and you deduct the import VAT on your VAT return. Most partners keep the prepaid line instead, because there is nothing to do on arrival.
I do not have a registered business or a Greek VAT number yet. Can I start, and does it change the taxes?
Yes. The partner form asks for your name, email, brand and country; no company registration or VAT number is needed to open an account and order from one piece. The taxes are the same either way, because Greek VAT and the EU duty are prepaid at checkout on every partner order; without a VAT registration the VAT is simply part of your cost, and once you are registered your accountant can tell you whether importing in your company's name suits you better.
Can I get an invoice with my details for my accountant, and is an invoice put in the parcel?
The order itself is your invoice, issued by MYNSU INC in U.S. dollars with the name and address on your partner account, and it stays in the Partner Portal under My orders; open the account in your company's name if you want the invoice in it. Inside the parcel there is no invoice, no price slip and none of our contact details, so your customer sees your brand only; the customs declaration on the outside states the contents and the declared value, as the law requires.
What delivery time should I show my Greek customers?
We hand the parcel to the carrier within 2 to 3 business days of payment, and delivery to Greece usually takes 8 to 12 business days after dispatch. List 3 business days of handling plus 8 to 12 business days of transit. Tracking can be quiet for several days while the parcel is in the air and in customs; that is normal.
Which carrier delivers in Greece, and can my customer track the parcel?
The parcel leaves our hub in Shenzhen on a tracked air line and is handed to the local delivery network in Greece for the last stretch. One tracking number follows it the whole way; we send it to you on dispatch and you pass it to your customer. Because the taxes are prepaid, the parcel clears customs with nothing for your customer to pay.
I am based in Greece and sell to customers in other EU countries. Which rules apply?
Your customer's country decides. A parcel to another EU country is prepaid the same way at checkout: that country's VAT rate on the goods, shipping and duty, the EU duty of EUR 3 per declaration item, the EUR 2 EU handling fee and the 3% clearance fee, with nothing due on delivery. Where you are based changes nothing, and the delivery time is that country's.
What if my Greek customer returns a piece under the 14-day withdrawal right?
That is between you and your customer: orders at partner price are final sale, so the returned piece stays in your stock to resell. A piece that arrives faulty, wrong or damaged in transit is covered: tell us within 3 calendar days of delivery with photos or a video and we replace it or credit your account.
Can you give me paperwork showing the pieces are genuine 925 silver and meet EU rules such as REACH?
Stock pieces are solid 925 sterling silver, stamped S925, and a written specification sheet for any style is available on request; the GRA certificate in the box covers the main stone, not the metal. The workshop that makes the tested model holds a third-party laboratory report under REACH Annex XVII (lead, cadmium and nickel release) for a tested model; it covers that model, so we do not label pieces nickel-free unless a report exists for that style. If you need the silver content or the nickel release confirmed on paper for the styles you sell, we arrange independent testing (XRF metal analysis, nickel release) at a recognized laboratory at your cost, with the report issued in your name.
Are prices in euros?
Partner prices are in U.S. dollars and you pay in dollars by card; your bank converts. The Shopify connector loads each piece into your store at your partner cost converted to euros at the day's rate, and you set your own retail price above it.
Questions from Greek shoppers
For orders placed on mynsujewelry.com.
Is shipping free to Greece?
Yes, on orders of $49.99 or more (orders under $49.99 ship for $9.99). Standard shipping is then free, tracked door to door, and delivery usually takes 8 to 12 business days after dispatch.
Will I pay VAT or customs duty on delivery?
Yes. Our prices do not include Greek VAT, and orders from our website are not shipped under the IOSS, so Greek import VAT at 24% on the goods and shipping and the EU customs duty of EUR 3 per declaration item (one item for a parcel of our jewelry) are collected by ELTA (Hellenic Post) or the courier before the parcel is handed to you; since November 1, 2026 the EU handling fee of EUR 2 per item is also due on import and may be passed on to you. ELTA charges no clearance fee of its own on a parcel released directly by customs on its pre-arrival declaration.
Can I pay the VAT in advance so nothing is due on delivery?
Not on orders from our website: the Greek VAT and the duty are collected on delivery. Business customers who order through the Partner Portal have them prepaid at checkout.
Are prices in euros?
Prices are in U.S. dollars and are charged in dollars; your card issuer converts at its rate.
How do returns work from Greece?
You may return any unworn item in its original condition and packaging within 30 days of delivery for a refund of the item price. You pay the return shipping to our receiving address in Shenzhen, given with the approved return, and any VAT or duty paid on the order is not refunded by us. If a piece arrives damaged, defective or different from what you ordered, tell us within 3 calendar days of delivery and we replace it or refund it in full.
