Production runs

Custom work starts from one piece. Ordering 30 pieces or more of a style makes it a production run, priced lower per piece, and the 30 can be a mix of sizes of that style (for example, one ring design in several sizes adding up to 30).

How a run works

  1. Send the designSend photos or links of a piece you like, a physical piece, or your own design.
  2. Approve the CADWe draw a 3D CAD model for your approval; the first renders come 1 to 3 days after payment.
  3. Approve the sampleAfter you approve the CAD, a sample takes 7 to 10 days. The approved sample is the standard for the production run.
  4. ProductionAfter you approve the sample, production takes 15 to 20 days.

Terms

  • PaymentEach step is paid in full before it starts: the CAD, then the sample, then the run.
  • QuotesEach production run is quoted for that project once we have your design and the quantities. Quotes are valid for 15 days; after that we quote again.
  • MouldsThe moulds stay with the factory for 12 months: a reorder of the same design within that time is made from the same moulds, with no new mould charge, and the moulds are not handed over.
  • CAD feeThe CAD fee depends on the complexity of the piece; we quote it with your project. Up to 3 rounds of changes are included, and further rounds are charged per round. The fee is non-refundable; on a production order we can reduce or waive it depending on the order size.
  • DelaysIf production runs late, we tell you and give you a new date; a delay does not carry compensation or a refund.
  • ReturnsA production run is made to your order, so it is not returnable.
